WWE Money in the Bank Tracker: Here's who is confirmed for mens, womens ladder matches
WWE Money in the Bank is barreling towards fans, set for the first Saturday in June. It's been an interesting PLE run recently, with Wrestlemania 41 taking place in late April, followed by Backlash a few weeks later and now Money in the Bank. While SummerSlam is the crown jewel of the schedule, moving to two days for the first time this year, Money in the Bank set the tone for the 2024 calendar last year.
Will this year's event do the same? The WWE must hope so, as things have remained in a bit of a lull since a very unsatisfying Wrestlemania weekend.
After being a working champion for a full calendar year, Cody Rhodes took time off following losing the title to John Cena, and last week's Saturday Night's Main Event speed-rushed into a Rhodes-Cena rematch, but in a tag-team battle at the next PLE. The highlight of the event will surely be the ladder matches though, as the mens and womens' winners will have a year-long open contact to challenge for any title they choose at any given moment.
Last year's win by Tiffany Stratton allowed her to make her mark through a year of teases that she'd challenge either Nia Jax or Liv Morgan, settling on Jax and successfully winning the title. Stratton has reigned since. The men's title was won by Drew McIntyre, who unsuccessfully cashed in his opportunity later that night.
