Where to watch AC Milan vs. Bologna live stream, TV channel, start time for Coppa Italia final

AC Milan and Bologna are set to square off in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia final at the Stadio Olimpico, with both sides chasing long-overdue silverware.

Milan, who haven’t lifted this trophy since 2003, come into the clash on a four-game winning streak and full of confidence after a recent comeback win over Bologna in Serie A. Sergio Conceicao’s men have looked rejuvenated in recent weeks, and with a cup double on the line after their Supercoppa success, they’ll be eyeing a strong finish to a turbulent campaign that could yet end with a ticket back to Europe.

Bologna, meanwhile, are hoping to write a new chapter in their history by ending a 51-year wait for Coppa Italia glory. Vincenzo Italiano’s side impressed during their run to the final, but recent league form has dipped at the worst possible time, with no wins in three matches. Riccardo Orsolini continues to be the talisman, but Bologna will need to recapture their early-season rhythm if they are to upset Milan in Rome.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

AC Milan vs. Bologna

AC Milan have received a timely boost ahead of the Coppa Italia final, with midfield anchor Youssouf Fofana returning from injury and star winger Rafael Leao back from suspension.

Fikayo Tomori, who limped off during the recent win over Bologna, is expected to recover in time to retain his place in the back three.

Sergio Conceicao is likely to stick with his favoured 3-4-2-1 system, where Leao and Christian Pulisic will flank the lone striker, whether that'd be Santiago Gimenez, Tammy Abraham, or Luka Jovic. Only Warren Bondo and Riccardo Sottil are confirmed absentees due to injury.

AC Milan predicted XI (3-4-2-1, right to left): Maignan (GK) — Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic — Jimenez, Fofana, Reijnders, Hernandez — Pulisic, Leao — Jovic.

Injured: Bondo, Sottil
Suspended: None

Bologna boss Vincenzo Italiano is also close to full strength, with Thijs Dallinga expected to lead the line ahead of Santiago Castro, who continues to struggle with a foot issue.

Riccardo Orsolini will once again be the primary threat from the right, having already bagged 15 goals this season, while Dan Ndoye, who scored the winner against Milan back in February, will battle Nicolo Cambiaghi and Benjamin Dominguez for a starting role on the opposite wing.

Emil Holm’s return from injury gives Italiano options at right-back, where he will contend with Lorenzo De Silvestri and former Rossoneri defender Davide Calabria.

Bologna predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Skorupski (GK) — Calabria, Beukema, Lucumi, Miranda — Freuler, Ferguson — Orsolini, Odgaard, Dominguez — Dallinga.

Injured: Erlic
Suspended: None
