The match is a rematch from their August 2023 bout in Wroclaw, Poland, where Usyk won after a controversial call by the referee on a low blow from Dubois, leading to Dubois's eventual defeat in the ninth round.

On Saturday, July 19 at Wembley Stadium, the home of English football, unified WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO world champion Oleksandr Usyk and IBF world champion Daniel Dubois will fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship in a historic event, broadcast live on DAZN, promoted by Frank Warren for Queensberry and Ready To Fight.

The former foes will come face-to-face at the launch press conference at 2pm on Tuesday, 29 April in London. Tickets for the blockbuster undisputed clash go on general sale at 12pm on Wednesday, 30 April available from ticketmaster.co.uk.

As part of Riyadh Season, Usyk and Dubois will battle to unite all the heavyweight belts for the second time in 14 months, after the unbeaten Ukrainian defeated Tyson Fury in May 2024 to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in November 1999 when he beat Evander Holyfield.

Now 38, Oleksandr Usyk could become an undisputed champion for the third time. The tricky southpaw first won this honour in the cruiserweights in 2018.

Just under six years later, Usyk was victorious over the WBC champion Tyson Fury in Riyadh via a split decision, becoming a two-weight undisputed champion. He repeated the success in December 2024 via a clearer unanimous decision result.

For 27-year-old Dubois, it is a rematch from their first meeting in Wroclaw, Poland in August 2023, where his body shot in the fifth round was deemed low by the referee and Usyk was afforded over four minutes of recovery time.

Dubois was then outworked and dropped twice, eventually stopped in the ninth round. Dubois and his long-term promoter Frank Warren raged at the low blow, vehemently campaigning that it was a legal punch and have been pushing for a rematch ever since.

Since his reverse to Usyk, the Londoner has put together a trio of impressive victories by overcoming the previously undefeated Jarrell Miller and IBF #1 Filip Hrgovic, followed by a Wembley destruction of former unified champion Anthony Joshua.

His IBF Interim title that he won against Croation Hrgovic was later upgraded to the full title when Usyk graciously gave it up. When he fought and defeated AJ in five rounds, it was his first defence of the title, finally making him a legitimate world champion.

A scheduled second defence against former WBO world champion Joseph Parker in February was called off at the last minute on fight week due to an illness.

The historic event in the English capital will be the first-ever time an undisputed heavyweight championship been fought for on British soil.

The national stadium once hosted 94,000 fans for the Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte fight in 2022, which is an attendance record Frank Warren believes will be broken.
