UEFA Champions League final score: PSG vs. Inter Milan result, highlights as Parisians win 2025 UCL title in record fashion
The UEFA Champions League trophy is finally, miraculously, headed back to the site of the first-ever final after Paris Saint-Germain won an emotional first title with a decisive 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in Munich.
The margin of victory is a record for a Champions League final, and it was entirely deserved as every player who stepped on the field in PSG blue was up to the task.
The French champions completely and utterly dominated the match, trouncing Inter Milan from start to finish as Simone Inzaghi's side looked completely unprepared for the moment.
Nineteen-year-old Desire Doue was the star in Munich, with his brace emblematic of PSG's new-look squad that prioritised development and a careful tactical recipe in the wake of the failures by the Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Neymar triumvirate.
Adding goals of their own were Achraf Hakimi and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who lent their own contributions to PSG's victory. Ballon d'Or candidate Ousmane Dembele took a backseat to his teammates on the scoresheet but was just as critical to the win, pressing with ruthless effectiveness and picking up two assists of his own.
For how impressive Inter were in downing Barcelona in the semifinals, they were utterly devoid of inspiration throughout the 90 minutes at the Allianz Arena. They had no answer for the brilliance in possession of Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha, the defensive supremacy of Nuno Mendes and William Pacho, or the attacking venom of Doue and Kvaratskhelia.

PSG vs. Inter Milan live updates, highlights from 2025 Champions League final
FULLTIME: PSG 5-0 Inter Milan
The referee blows his whistle and PSG are champions of Europe! The French side completes a famous treble, as they add the club's first-ever European championship alongside two domestic titles on the year. A totally dominant performance from Luis Enrique's side!
87th min: GOAL! PSG!!!!! SUBSTITUTE SENNY MAYULU HAS ADDED A FIFTH FOR PSG, WHICH WOULD BE A RECORD MARGIN OF VICTORY!
The 19-year-old is played on by a lazy Nicola Zalewski who is slow to step forward with the rest of the Inter back line, and he gets on the vertical ball at the left post and pokes it in, much to the youngster's delight who goes wheeling away with his own disbelief!
VIDEO: Watch Mayulu goal in UK | Watch in Canada
81st min: Chance, PSG! Oh dear, Bradley Barcola's had a shocker! He skipped by the entire Inter defense brilliantly to get clean through on goal just inches from the goal mouth, but as he attempted to wrong-foot Yann Sommer at the left post, he scuffed his shot wide left! It was harder to miss than make from there!
It won't matter, but that's a truly abominable miss. Shortly after, Goncalo Ramos replaces their latest goal scorer Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while Warren Zaire-Emery and Senny Mayulu replace Joao Neves and Fabian Ruiz in midfield.
78th min: With the big lead now giving PSG some room to breathe, Luis Enrique protects Nuno Mendes from any further damage to the little knock he suffered earlier in the game as he withdraws the left-back, replaced by Lucas Hernandez.
76th min: Chance, Inter! Marcus Thuram produces Inter's first shot on target of the match as he stings the palms of Gianluigi Donnarumma, but his shot from the left flank is saved well by the Italian.
73rd min: GOAL! PSG!!!!! KHVICHA KVARATSKHELIA HAS A FOURTH FOR PSG! IT'S ALL OVER WITH 20 MINUTES STILL TO GO!
It's a breathless breakaway as Kvara stays onside as Ousmane Dembele feeds him through on goal past the high Inter line, and with only the goalkeeper to beat, he finishes clinically past Yann Sommer!

69th min: Marcus Thuram receives a yellow card for a frustration foul trying to win the ball back from Fabian Ruiz. Inter know this one's more than likely over. Francesco Acerbi is the next man into the book a few minutes later for a foul on PSG's left wing.
Simone Inzaghi is hoping to spark a turnaround, though, as he makes another change with Kristjan Asllani replacing Hakan Calhanoglu.
67th min: It will be no hat-trick for Desire Doue today, as he is replaced by Bradley Barcola for the final 25 minutes or so of this match.
63rd min: GOAL! PSG!!!! DESIRE DOUE PUTS THE GAME TO BED WITH HIS SECOND GOAL OF THE GAME IN LIGHTNING QUICK FASHION! WHAT A PLAYER!!!
Vitinha collects the ball at the midway line at full speed from a layoff, and he charges into Inter's half before feeding Doue vertically to his right. The youngster does the rest to grab a brace on the biggest stage!
Doue is booked in the aftermath for taking his shirt off in the celebration.

61st min: Chance, PSG! Achraf Hakimi combines with Ousmane Dembele and cooks the Inter left flank, ending with Hakimi's shot being just slightly deflected wide. After the corner, Inter make two more changes, this time in midfield.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Yann Bisseck are replaced by Matteo Darmian and Carlos Augusto. Bisseck just came on 10 minutes ago, but appears to have hyperextended his knee and may have done some serious damage, as he appears emotional while exiting.
58th min: Simone Inzaghi is booked for his angry protests on the touchline. For what, it's unclear. That was a blatant booking for Zalewski a bit ago, and Inter have had plenty of the referee's whistle as well.
56th min: Zalewski is only on the pitch for two minutes before receiving a booking, not for any defending but instead a reckless slide tackle after his marauding run ends with a blocked shot. Maybe a bit of adrenaline there for the 23-year-old, as he clatters Fabian Ruiz late.
54th min: The first substitution of the game sees Benjamin Pavard and Federico Dimarco exit, while Yann Bisseck and Nicola Zalewski enter in their place.
Gianluigi Donnarumma is down in pain after a collision with Marquinhos on a set-piece delivery, but he gets up and soldiers on after a moment. He is clearly fine, as he punches the ensuing corner away with power.
52nd min: PSG have begun to see a few chances slip by. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia comes up empty with a couple of open opportunities, and now Ousmane Dembele curls an effort wide of the far post after cutting inside from his spot on the wing. The French club has failed to truly kill off this game, even as Inter don't look terribly likely to get back into it...
50th min: As Inter swing a corner in from the left, Nicolo Barella is screaming for a penalty after a perceived handball on Marquinhos, but a replay shows that his arms were perfectly by his side as the ball bounced up into his torso. Clearly never a penalty, of which referee Istvan Kovacs vociferously informs the Italian.
47th min: William Pacho is lucky not to be booked as he cuts down Marcus Thuram on the right flank. Even as the referee fails to produce a yellow card, it does give Inter a dangerous free-kick...but Hakan Calhanoglu completely burns the opportunity by blazing it miles over everyone and out of play. What a terrible waste!
46th min: Chance, PSG! Right out of the gates PSG trouble Inter, but Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's shot from the top-left corner of the six-yard box is rifled high!! An early dangerous opportunity for the leaders!
2nd half kickoff: They're back under way at Allianz Arena for the second half of the 2025 Champions League final. Inter's European hopes are on the line, as they will need to make major changes to the way they approach this game if they are to not only deal with PSG's build-up but also create more chances of their own.
Paris, meanwhile, is already bracing for its first-ever European title!

HALFTIME: PSG 2-0 Inter Milan
The opening 45 minutes of the match were completely dominated by PSG, and they have made good on that with a pair of goals, one from Achraf Hakimi and one by Desire Doue!
Doue was the star, as he becomes the youngest player to score and assist a goal in a Champions League final since the competition rebrand in 1992. In truth, though, every player on PSG has been up to the task, as they've been absolutely outstanding in possession and also dealing with Inter's counter.
The result is that Inter become the first team in Champions League history to concede two goals inside the opening 20 minutes of a final.
45+3 min: Chance, PSG! Kvaratskhelia gets a free header from a PSG corner, but puts it over the crossbar from about six yards out!
44th min: Chance, PSG! Ousmane Dembele nearly beats Federico Dimarco at the back post to meet a Khvicha Kvaratskhelia cross, but Dimarco does just enough to force a wayward effort!
Dembele is there to meet the deep delivery, sticking his boot out at it, but Dimarco manages to recover and pressure the ball enough to force Dembele's touch to lump the ball back from whence it came.
37th min: Chance, Inter Milan! MARCUS THURAM MISSES WITH A FREE HEADER! THAT WAS THE MOMENT TO GET BACK INTO THE GAME!
Inter have been so dangerous this season on set pieces, and they rifle one to the far post just a few feet from the goal mouth, and Thuram rises high to meet it...but puts it wide! The Italians won't get many chances like that, and they've wasted a huge one! This game's got a MUCH different feel if he buries that!
35th min: Inter have managed to get themselves into the attacking third at times, but William Pacho is a world-class tracking back at pace to deal with the Inter breakaways. The Italian side hasn't done much with the ball whether it be in the half-court or on the breakaway.
Meanwhile, Inter just cannot deal with PSG's ability to counter-press and attack from their own ball-winning moves.
PSG haven’t even broken a sweat. Inter look like they’ve run a marathon.
— Felipe Cárdenas (@FelipeCar) May 31, 2025
27th min: Inter have begun getting forward a bit more, but Federico Dimarco is miles offside on the overlap. Marquinhos points to his head to tell his teammates to keep themselves sharp despite the two-goal lead.
23rd min: Francesco Acerbi heads an Inter corner over the crossbar, but it never looked terribly likely to test Gianluigi Donnarumma anyways.
There's an issue for PSG here as Nuno Mendes, who has been one of the best defenders in Europe this season, looks to be possibly struggling with an injury. He went over for treatment during the celebration for PSG's second goal, and he's been shown grimacing a few times since play restarted.
20th min: GOAL! PSG!!! DESIRE DOUE HAS A SECOND FOR PSG! IT'S A LONG WAY BACK FOR INTER NOW!!!
The buildup is beautiful, as Ousmane Dembele switches play to the right for Doue and his shot goes in with help from a massive deflection off Federico Dimarco! Is the game already over???
It's been a nightmare start for Dimarco, who turned his back to the shot and left himself open for that possibility!

12th min: GOAL! PSG!!! ACHRAF HAKIMI HAS THE EARLY BREAKTHROUGH FOR PSG AT THE END OF A BEAUTIFUL MOVE!!!
Vitinha feeds the ball vertically in to Desire Doue who inverts and crops up on the left side of the penalty area, and he lays it off beautifully to Hakimi along the face of goal which bypasses the goalkeeper and leaves the Moroccan international with an easy tap-in! Both Vitinha and Doue found holes in the Inter back line nobody else could see! It helps that both Federico Dimarco and Denzel Dumfries failed to step up with the center-backs, playing Doue onside.
Incredibly, even though it's a Champions League final, Hakimi refuses to celebrate against a club he spent one season with. Class, but also maybe a little over the top. It's a goal in a European final!

9th min: It's been all PSG so far through the opening 10 minutes. The Parisians are bombing forward in waves, looking to cut the ball back and feed their forwards with delivery after delivery. Desire Doue wins a free kick after being shoved by Alessandro Bastoni on the touchline out wide right, which allows PSG a number of opportunities, but they can't test Yann Sommer from it.
3rd min: PSG are on the attack early on, but Desire Doue catches Henrikh Mkhitaryan with a wayward arm while battling on the ball and Inter win the foul. A bright and lively start from the Parisian side.
Kickoff: They're under way at Allianz Arena! A new champion of Europe will be crowned! Will it be PSG with their first-ever Champions League title, or Inter Milan with their first since beating Bayern Munich in 2010?

30 mins to kickoff: French reporter Julien Laurens says that Ousmane Dembele can secure "a meeting with history" today with a quality performance in the Champions League final. 45 mins to kickoff: One incredible number has emerged from the two starting lineups. The gap between average ages of the two XI's is the biggest in Champions League final history. Can Inter use their veteran savvy to overcome their likely fitness disadvantage?
5y 146d - The average age of PSG's starting lineup this evening (25y 96d) is five years & 146 days younger than Internazionale's (30y 242d), the biggest ever age gap between two starting XIs in a UEFA Champions League final. Opposites.
— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) May 31, 2025
1 hour to kickoff: Starting lineups are in, and there's only one surprise for either XI, as Benjamin Pavard passes fit enough to return for his first start in over a month. The France international replaces Yann Bisseck and Stefan de Vrij along the back for Inter.
For PSG, it's exactly as expected, with Desire Doue predictably starting up front on the right, with Bradley Barcola to come off the bench.
1 hour 15 mins to kick: One of the most astonishing numbers from this year's Champions League competitions beautifully displays been Inter's fortitude. The Italian club has trailed for just 1.2% of their minutes across the entire tournament, and never for more than 370 seconds at one time. Astonishing!
1.2% - Internazionale have trailed for just 1.2% of their UEFA Champions League matches this season, falling behind in three games but never for more than 370 seconds in any of them. They’ve also spent the highest percentage of their time winning (50.8%). Controllers. pic.twitter.com/vXONlNv9SB

2 hours to kickoff: Looking at this match from a tactical perspective, it presents an interesting clash of styles. Under Simone Inzaghi, Inter Milan have traditionally been a defensively organised side, but against Barcelona's high intensity attacking style they turned on the goal scoring jets.
Inzaghi's 3-5-2 tactical setup presents a fascinating foil to the more traditional 4-3-3 formation of Luis Enrique. PSG's pressing isn't all gas no brakes like Barcelona's, but it still should allow Inter a chance to break and run. Preview the match from a tactical perspective below!
A load of waffle from me there. You get some of that in this tactics preview, also, but there's also Nedum Onuoha's excellent breakdown of tonight's match. Inter to nick it?https://t.co/UAuC3zUKCb

PSG vs. Inter Milan lineups: Confirmed XI for Champions League final
The biggest question for PSG boss Luis Enrique was who to deploy along the front line, as he boasts four attacking players all having world-class seasons. With Ballon d'Or candidate Ousmane Dembele back to full fitness after a slight muscle issue in the semifinals, he must select who to play on either side of the France international.
Winter signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was sure to start on the left, leaving it between Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola on the right overlapping into the middle when Dembele wishes to track out wide. Luis Enrique has handed the start to Doue on most occasions recently, and he was always likely to get the nod, with Barcola a dangerous bench option.
The only fitness concern for PSG is that of oft-injured Presnel Kimpembe, who has fallen down the defensive depth chart anyways, but even he passes fit enough to make the bench.
PSG starting lineup (4-3-3): Donnarumma (GK) — Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes — Neves, Vitinha, F. Ruiz — Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia.
PSG subs: Tenas (GK), Safonov (GK), Beraldo, L. Hernandez, Kimpembe, Mayulu, Zaire-Emery, Lee, Barcola, Ramos, Mbaye.
Inter have three players who have all worked to prove fit for this match, and it's possible that all three of them are available for selection.
Defender Yann Bisseck was withdrawn on the hour mark of Inter's final Serie A match against Como, and while Simone Inzaghi confirmed that he felt something in his knee, the consensus seems to be that he will prove fit for a starting role.
That means the return of defender Benjamin Pavard is well-timed, as he recovers from an ankle injury to start at the back. Pavard has missed each of the last four games, but he returns, as does Piotr Zielinski who is available as a substitute despite a calf problem.
Inter Milan starting lineup (3-5-2): Sommer (GK) — Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni — Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco — L. Martinez, Thuram.
Inter Milan subs: J. Martinez (GK), Di Gennaro (GK), de Vrij, Bisseck, Augusto, Darmian, Frattesi, Asllani, Zalewski, Zielinski, Arnautovic, Taremi.
