Sophie Cunningham opens up about pushing through frustrations after difficult past month, 'find the joy'
Fever star Sophie Cunningham is keeping her head held high while also acknowledging that the past month has been anything but easy for her. Throughout the last month, Cunningham has suffered multiple injuries and been the subject of some nasty rumors. As if that weren’t enough, she also chipped her tooth during a recent game against the Connecticut Sun.
On Sunday, June 8, Cunningham shared a series of photos from her life lately and opened up on Instagram about how she’s managed to stay positive.
“Injury. lies. injury. My tooth or lack thereof. Things just kept happening one after another, yet, through the frustrations, being annoyed, and straight up being exhausted on all fronts, he is faithful. So keep on keepin' on. Find the joy. Do the right thing anyways. show up with good energy. Be thankful your character and patience is getting tested,” she wrote in the caption.
Several of her Indiana Fever teammates showed her support in the comments.

On Wednesday, May 21, Cunningham issued a statement about recent allegations that were made against her by an employee of the Phoenix Suns. As part of a lawsuit filed against the Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Mercury, Cunningham was accused of having an affair with the married CEO of these organizations, Josh Bartelstein. She denied these accusations, calling them ‘extremely hurtful.’
