Barcelona and Real Madrid were both interested and keen on signing Cordero but he’s picked Newcastle."

Cordero could be perfect foil if Newcastle United fail to sign another right winger. The 18 year-old has scored five goals and provided six assists in 33 appearance for Malaga this season.
