The Philadelphia Eagles are still celebrating their Super Bowl victory, with a potential visit to the White House looming. The tradition of championship teams visiting the White House continues, as seen with the Los Angeles Dodgers' recent trip. However, uncertainty surrounds Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts' attendance at the event. In a recent interview, Hurts gave a non-committal response when asked if he would join his team on the visit. Despite the Eagles accepting the White House invitation for April 28, Hurts' ambiguous answer leaves his participation in doubt.
The Philadelphia Eagles, fresh from their Super Bowl victory, are still basking in their championship glory as offseason programs approach.
Traditionally, championship teams are invited to visit the White House, as demonstrated by the Los Angeles Dodgers' recent trip to the nation's capital.
Jalen Hurts, the Eagles' quarterback, provided an unclear response when questioned about his participation in the team's White House visit, raising speculation about his plans.
In 2018, the Eagles declined a White House invitation after their last Super Bowl win, but this time they have accepted, with the visit scheduled for April 28.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the invitation and acceptance amidst rumors, emphasizing the event will proceed as planned, though Hurts' attendance remains uncertain due to his vague comments.
The Philadelphia Eagles' feeling of being Super Bowl champions still isn't going away. Despite Super Bowl LIX being nearly three months ago, they are still celebrating, even though the offseason programs are drawing near for the NFL.
One big question remains regarding the Eagles' visit to the White House: Will Jalen Hurts be in attendance?

The last time the Eagles won the Super Bowl, they declined the White House invitation, which came in 2018. However, reports stated that the Eagles have accepted this time and the tour is set for April 28.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed that back in March.
"I know there was a lot of fake news about an invitation that wasn't sent or was sent, we want to correct the record: we sent an invitation, they enthusiastically accepted, and you will see them here on April 28," she said.
Being able to go to the White House is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many, but Hurts' comment - or lack thereof - might have shown his true thoughts on making the trip to Washington, D.C.
