Giants' Rafael Devers had a bunch of adventures at first base last night
The ball will find you.
That's what they say in baseball about a guy who is at a new position or who might not be comfortable with wherever he is on the field.
That'd be a fair descriptor for Rafael Devers, who has only a few games of MLB experience at first base.
On Saturday for the San Francisco Giants, he had quite an adventure.
We'll let you watch this package of plays:

On a couple of those, Devers looks quite natural.
On a couple others, not so much.
The best news for the Giants is that Devers was smiling through it. He didn't look frustrated by being handed this new task. He looked like he appreciated the challenge.
As long as he keeps smiling and keeps making most of the plays over there when called upon, his bat will do the rest of the talking.
