Bayern Munich boss urges everyone to cherish 'special' Lionel Messi
Lionel Messi netted an excellent freekick and led Inter Miami to a 2-1 win against FC Porto in their second match of the Club World Cup on June 18 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
After Inter Miami's opening match in the competition ended in a goalless draw against Egyptian side Al Ahly on June 14, Messi & Co.'s victory in the second clash kept their hopes alive of qualifying further from the group stage.
Now as the teams are headed to their third and last match of the Club World Cup group stage, Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany has heaped praise on Messi, referring to the Argentine icon as the 'special player' at Inter Miami.
Bayern are currently topping their group (Group C), having won both of their matches in the competition so far.

While speaking to reporters after Bayern bagged a 2-1 victory against Boca Juniors and booked a spot in the Round of 16, Kompany hailed (comments via GOAL) Messi's abilities on the pitch, especially with regards to the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner's age.
Messi will be turning 38 this week, while Kompany has entered the age of 39 this April.

"Inter Miami they have a special, special player there. I think he's my age. I don't know how he still does it. We are still watching these games and I think we have to cherish every moment Messi's on the pitch," said the Belgian manager.
Messi and Inter Miami are set to face Brazilian side Palmeiras in their third match of the Club World Cup on June 23, at Hard Rock Stadium.
