On the Monday (July 28) episode, fans of the long-running Peacock soap were introduced to Foster, Salem’s bookstore owner, who came to Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) rescue as Gwen stirred up trouble in the Horton Square.
Foster is played by Miles Anderson, a veteran British actor.

While American audiences may not immediately recognize him, he has appeared in hit TV shows like Constantine and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and films including La La Land and Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth.
In his debut storyline, Foster reveals he’s planning to sell the bookstore so he can spend more time with his family in California. Julie, who has a long history as a savvy businesswoman in Salem, seems like the natural person to take it over.
