The Hall of Fame aims to honor creators from various content verticals, acknowledging their impact on pop culture and their influence on VidCon over the years. Inductees will be celebrated during the Opening Night Celebration and will receive customized jerseys, hats, and awards. These honors will be displayed for fans to photograph during the convention's Expo Hall on the following days.

The Hall of Fame will honor creators from diverse content areas such as comedy, vlogging, and lifestyle, showcasing the industry's growth over the past two decades.

Inductees will be honored with a ceremony during the convention's Opening Night Celebration, accessible to all badge holders.

Honorees will receive a customized jersey, baseball hat, and award, which will be displayed on the Expo Hall floor for photo opportunities.

The introduction of the Hall of Fame highlights VidCon's role as a premier event for celebrating the creator economy and its contributors.

The annual convention will take place June 19-21 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and this year will introduce the inaugural VidCon Hall of Fame, honoring some of the most notable names from across the content creator community.

“VidCon has always been the premier event celebrating all aspects of the creator economy,” VidCon Vice President Sarah Tortoreti shared in a statement. “By introducing a way to honor these iconic creators in our new ‘VidCon Hall of Fame,’ we are recognizing their contribution to the evolution of digital culture and their instrumental impact on pop culture and fandom.”

Each inductee will be “recognized for the significant impact they’ve had on digital culture, fandom, and the creator economy as a whole, and their influence on VidCon itself over the years. From comedy to vlogging to lifestyle content, they each represent different verticals and how far the industry has come over the last 20 years.”

The inaugural VidCon Hall of Fame also coincides with the 20 year anniversary of YouTube!

The ceremony will take place during the convention’s Opening Night Celebration on Thursday, June 19th and will be open to all badge holders. Each honoree will also receive a customized “VidCon Hall of Fame” jersey, baseball hat, and award, all of which will be displayed on the Expo Hall floor on Friday and Saturday for fans to grab a photo.
