Ant Anstead's Rep Shuts Down 'Disrepectful' Rumors That He & Girlfriend Renée Zellweger Are Living Separately

Ant Anstead‘s rep is addressing all of the rumors about his living situation while longtime girlfriend Renée Zellweger is out of town.

It was recently reported that the 46-year-old British TV host has been residing with a woman named Julia French in Laguna Beach, Calif, while Renée, 56, is in New York City filming the new season of Only Murders in the Building.

In a new statement, Ant‘s rep shut down the “disrespectful” reports.

Keep reading to find out more…“Sadly, the recent reports are disrespectful and misleading,” Ant‘s rep told People, noting that the former For the Love of Cars host had “stayed just a handful of days in Julia French’s separate, and detached, guest house.”

“They have been long-time friends with similarly aged children within a circle of local Laguna Beach friends,” the statement continued, adding that Ant and Renée “remain in a cherished relationship” despite working in separate countries.

Ant has been “spending the majority of his time working in the U.K.,” while the Oscar-winning actress has been working in NYC.

If you didn’t know, Ant and Renée began dating in 2021 after meeting while filming her episode of his Discovery+ series Celebrity IOU: Joyride. Then in 2023, ti was revealed that the couple had purchased a home and moved in together.

In an interview from earlier this year, Renée shared some very rare comments about Ant and his 5-year-old son Hudson.
