1. The Hosts & Judges
It wouldn’t be Project Runway without Heidi Klum, who returns as host and head judge for Season 21.
She’s joined by season 4 winner Christian Siriano, back as mentor to guide the designers through the grueling competition.

On the judging panel this season are returning judge Nina Garcia, editor-in-chief of Elle magazine, and new judge, celebrity stylist Law Roach.
Law teased his approach on Good Morning America: “It’s just tough love. Cultivating the next generation of talent is really important to me, and it always has been. I would be doing them a disservice if I was sugarcoating things.”
Season 21 will welcome a lineup of big-name celebrity guest judges, including Jenna Lyons, Tyra Banks, Michael Kors, Nikki Glaser, and Sofía Vergara.
2. The Premiere Date
Project Runway Season 21 officially premieres on Thursday, July 31, at 10 p.m. ET on Freeform.
The season is scheduled to run weekly through early October, with the finale expected to air on Thursday, October 2, though a possible hiatus for hometown visits could push the finale back a week.

3. Meet the Designers
This season introduces a fresh group of fashion hopefuls, each bringing their own unique style to the runway:
Antonio Estrada, Jesus Estrada, Yuchen Han, Belania Daley, Caycee Black, Angelo Rosa, Joan Madison, Alex Foxworth, Madeline Malenfant, Ethan Mundt (aka Utica Queen), Veejay Floresca, and Joseph McRae.
From twin brothers to a returning alum and even a drag superstar, it’s shaping up to be one of the most diverse and exciting casts yet.
