'Pride & Prejudice': Netflix Reveals First Look at Limited TV Series, Supporting Cast Revealed!

Netflix is giving us the first glimpse of Pride and Prejudice!

The limited series just revealed its supporting cast alongside a first look photo, as production begins in the United Kingdom.

The Jane Austen adaptation features Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourg.

Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery make their debuts as Mary Bennet and Kitty Bennet, respectively.

New cast members include Anjana Vasan, Sebastian Armesto, Rosie Cavaliero, Saffron Coomber, James Dryden, Justin Edwards, James Northcote, Eloise Webb and Isabella Sermon.

They join previously announced cast members Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden and Olivia Colman, who lead as Elizabeth Bennet, Mr. Darcy and Mrs. Bennet, respectively.

The six-part limited series is announced to be a faithful adaptation of the 1813 novel from Heartstopper director Euros Lyn and screenwriter Dolly Alderton.

“Once in a generation, a group of people get to retell this wonderful story and I feel very lucky that I get to be a part of it,” the writer said in a statement.

Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is the blueprint for romantic comedy – it has been a joy to delve back into its pages to find both familiar and fresh ways of bringing this beloved book to life.”
