Pedro Pascal is opening up in a new interview.

The 50-year-old actor was asked why he seems private about his personal life, if he wants kids, and reflects on a moment that happened in front of the world in 2024.

About why he doesn’t talk about his personal dating life, he told Vanity Fair, “I always feel perplexed when I’m identified in whatever form of media as a ‘highly private person,’ because that’s the opposite of me. I’m very unprivate in my private life. I just know that personal relationships are such a complex thing to navigate even without having this enormous lens on them.”

If he wants kids, he said he’s never “longed” for them, but, did say, “I’ve had dreams of taking my kids to the movies the way my parents took me. So I guess I want a shortcut to an interesting human being who is my child who will go see something that I want to see.”

You may also remember at the 2024 Critics’ Choice Awards, Pedro was in a sling and recovering from an injury.

During the show, host Chelsea Handler pointed out on stage that 2023 was “the year everyone became horny for Pedro Pascal.”

However, Pedro did not feel that way, despite all his fans agreeing with Chelsea! He remarked, “I was in a sling, I was overweight, and when the camera cut to me, I didn’t think anything could be further from the truth.”
