The 43-year-old Princess of Wales kicked off the start of Mental Health Awareness Week in the United Kingdom on Monday (May 12) by posting an intimate video of her and Prince William together while she spoke about how nature improved her mental health amid her cancer journey.

“Over the past year, nature has been my sanctuary,” Princess Kate said.
“The natural world’s capacity to inspire us, to nurture us and to help us heal and grow is boundless and has been understood for generations.”
In the video, she can be seen besides a field of purple flowers, later being joined by her husband for a walk through a forest together.
“It is through nature that we can fully understand the true interconnectedness of all things, the importance of balance and the importance of renewal and resilience,” Kate said.
The couple are also seen together in a field with flowers, and embracing while standing in front of a lake.
“Spring is the season of rebirth, of hope and new beginnings,” Kate said.
