Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber frequently encounter a question about their 'Full House' co-star John Stamos that they find unsettling. Both actresses, who played Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler respectively, were part of the show's original run and its revival, 'Fuller House'. Often asked if they had a crush on Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse, they find the question inappropriate, comparing Stamos to a family member rather than a romantic interest. During a podcast episode, they emphasized their discomfort with the question, highlighting their familial bond with Stamos and other co-stars like Dave Coulier. The actresses expressed that such inquiries are misguided given their young age during the show's filming and their close-knit, platonic relationship with the cast.

Sweetin and Barber portrayed Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler in the original 'Full House' series from 1987 to 1995 and later reprised their roles in the revival series 'Fuller House' from 2016 to 2020.

The actresses clarified on a podcast that John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse, was more like an uncle or a buddy to them, emphasizing a family-like bond rather than any romantic interest.

They highlighted the awkwardness of the question due to the significant age difference and the fact that they were children during the initial run of 'Full House'.

Jodie Sweetin also referred to Dave Coulier, another co-star, as part of this familial relationship, reinforcing the platonic and close-knit nature of their interactions with the cast.

The actresses' comments reflect a broader discomfort with media questions that inappropriately frame childhood co-stars in a romantic context.

Sweetin shared a separate personal anecdote about her first kiss happening on the 'Full House' set, further illustrating the personal and formative experiences the show represented for her.
