Bill Belichick Denies Internet Talk About Girlfriend Jordon Hudson, Reiterates Where He Met Her In First Statement After CBS Interview
Bill Belichick, former NFL head coach and current UNC college coach, addressed the controversy from his recent CBS interview, which focused on his book 'The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football'. During the interview, an unexpected question about how he met his girlfriend Jordon Hudson led her to interject, prompting speculation that she was trying to control the conversation. Belichick refuted this narrative, explaining that the intention was to keep the focus on his book as agreed with CBS beforehand. He clarified that the interview's edited clips misrepresented the situation, emphasizing the productive nature of their full conversation and reiterating how he and Hudson met. To support this, Hudson released an email from Belichick dated April 10, providing further clarity on their stance.
Bill Belichick conducted an interview with CBS to promote his book 'The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football', during which an unexpected question about his relationship with Jordon Hudson arose.
Jordon Hudson intervened during the interview, leading to internet speculation that she was attempting to control the conversation, a narrative that Belichick firmly denies.
Belichick clarified that he had communicated with CBS prior to the interview to focus solely on the content of his book, a guideline that was not adhered to during the session.
Belichick explained that Hudson's intervention was to refocus the discussion on the book, as agreed, rather than deflecting specific questions about their relationship.
He emphasized that the edited clips from the interview did not accurately reflect the full, productive 35-minute conversation they had, which covered various aspects of his career.
Belichick and Hudson have been transparent about meeting on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021, countering claims that they were evasive about their relationship's origin.
To further clarify their position and dispel rumors, an email written by Belichick on April 10 was released by Hudson, reinforcing their narrative.

Former New England Patriots NFL head coach Bill Belichick is responding to all the discourse surrounding his latest interview and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson‘s involvement.

“I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning — Lessons from My Life in Football. Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book,” the statement began (which was released to various accounts on X).
“Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book. After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion,” the statement continued.
The statement continued, “She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track. Some of the clips make it appear as though we were avoiding the question of how we met, but we have been open about the fact that Jordon and I met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021.”
The statement ended, “The final eight-minute segment does not reflect the productive 35-minute conversation we had, which covered a wide range of topics related to my career. Instead, it presents selectively edited clips and stills from just a few minutes of the interview to suggest a false narrative — that Jordon was attempting to control the conversation — which is simply not true.”
If you didn’t see, Jordon released an email Bill wrote on April 10 to help prove their point.
