Benny and Carmen, the main characters, are guided by Benny’s older sister and her campus-legend boyfriend as they dive into college life filled with humorous and awkward experiences.

The show is set to bring viewers through a series of comedic college antics, including encounters with flavored vodka, fake IDs, and tumultuous relationships.

The series features a star-studded cast including Lukas Gage, Megan Fox, and Bowen Yang, with notable guest stars such as Charli XCX and Kaia Gerber adding to the ensemble.

Comprised of eight episodes, 'Overcompensating' will be available on Prime Video starting May 15, offering a mix of humor and relatable college experiences.

A new trailer for Benito Skinner‘s upcoming comedy series Overcompensating just dropped – and it shows the ensemble cast in wild college antics!

Written by and starring Benito in the lead role, the Prime Video and A24 show tells the story of “a closeted former football player and homecoming king as he becomes fast friends with Carmen, a high school outsider on a mission to fit in at all costs. With guidance from Benny’s older sister and her campus-legend boyfriend, Benny and Carmen juggle horrible hookups, flavored vodka, and fake IDs.”

The trailer shows hilarious moments of the characters getting into sticky situations, including a a glimpse of a shirtless Benito.

Overcompensating also stars Lukas Gage, Megan Fox, Bowen Yang, Matt Rogers, James Van Der Beek, Didi Conn, Rachel Matthews, Danielle Perez, Boman Martinez Reid, Yasmine Sahid, Wally Baram, Mary Beth Barone, Adam DiMarco, and Rish Shah.
